Measure the full carton range
Record minimum and maximum width and height, packed weight and board condition. Include cartons that are light, tall or difficult to keep square.
Compare batch and mixed-size work
Manual adjustment may suit repeated sizes. Frequent variation may justify an automatically adjusting configuration. Review changeover time alongside conveyor speed.
Review the complete station
Include carton erection, flap folding, feeding and discharge in your assessment. A faster sealer alone may not improve a constrained packing station.
Prepare your project brief
Bring samples, current output, target output, available space and utilities. Include quality expectations and the conditions that make your process difficult.
