Bring a print sample
Specify the number of lines, character height, variable fields and available print area. A speed rating without the corresponding print format is not enough to select a printer.
Check material and environment
Test adhesion and contrast on the production substrate. Include condensation, dust, temperature and cleaning conditions in the brief.
Plan daily operation
Ask how operators select messages, change consumables and clean the system. Confirm service access and the consumables needed for the selected configuration.
Prepare your project brief
Bring samples, current output, target output, available space and utilities. Include quality expectations and the conditions that make your process difficult.
